Camp in the Dominican Republic

Becky, intern in the Dominican Republic: Camp was busy and tiring but great! I was able to be in charge of the Dining hall (making sure all the food was out and everyone was served, etc) and was also a counselor. Being a counselor was very challenging, especially because of the language barrier, but definitely rewarding. One girl in particular was struggling with assurance of salvation, and I was able to share some verses with her to encourage her in her security in Christ. I’m not sure of the exact number of kids that were saved and/or dedicated their lives to the Lord, but I know that the Lord worked in many of the hearts of the campers.
