Sometimes Old Sins Hang On, but God Provides Fellow Disciples to Help Us

Amasama Senior High, one of the schools that we had been to previously, asked us to train students who attend their Scripture Union on how to present the Gospel to an unsaved person. The teacher who asked us was very grateful because she also attended the classes and enjoyed them.

After the first meeting, a young man approached me and said that he struggled with a sexual sin. After he accepted Jesus Christ a couple of months ago, he had a short victory over the sin, but recently had struggled again. I counseled him and told him to pray and read the Bible, and also gave him some practical suggestions in how to battle sin. The next week, he said that he was doing his best, but still struggling. He asked for prayer, and I have been keeping in touch with him.
